Fingerprinting Children.

First proper blog posting, and its an interesting one.

Picked this up via An Englishman's Castle.

I must admit I didn't think this was as prevalent as its being reported, but it seems to be true. As a parent I'm going to be having a word with the Headmaster at the school my kids attend to see if they're planning such a scheme (or if its in place already), and I'll be making damn sure that my kids know they shouldn't be forced into submitting fingerprints.

These shits get away with it because people are too bloody trusting of the state in order to think
for themselves. What is it that drives people to blindly follow those in a position of authority without question? Its a mindset I really don't understand - and frankly, I don't want to.

What with this, ID Cards, 700,000 kids on the police DNA database and everything else thats going on thats driven by the asshats in power, I seriously fear for the future.

I sure as hell will be kicking up a stink if they try it where my kids go to school.

A campaign site has been set up over at LeaveThemKidsAlone.com to inform people of the issue - its well worth a read.

Spread the word.
